Rosebank House bed and breakfast - our food
We try to make as much as possible of the food we serve you, here at Rosebank. In your rooms you will find Aoife's biscuits and our own Rosebank tablet.
We make our own granola to our own recipe and a wide selection of jams, preserves and marmalade.
The area around Blairgowrie has always been one of the prime areas in the UK for soft fruit production. Indeed, when there was still a train line, there was a departure each evening to make sure the fruit reached Covent Garden in London early the next morning.
We produce our own compote, generally either strawberry and rhubarb or strawberry and plum, and we make our own yoghurt. Combined with the granola, they make a perfect threesome.
We also make fresh bread every day, varying from five seed to granary. We do not apologise for not serving shop-bought bread.
We are sorry but we do not provide cooked evening meals, partly because there are several fine frestaurants in Blairgowrie which is a short walk from Rosebank. However, we can provide platters of a selection of cold meats or cheeses which can be pre-ordered, (£10). These can be served in the sitting room or your bedroom if you prefer.
